This was a great book to read on the heels of Robin Diangelo's title "White Fragility". There were many parallels and overlaps between the two books, with this one written from the point of view of a Black woman. Oluo peppers the book with personal anecdotes that really help drive her points home. I particularly appreciated the section of the book that addressed being an ally. Excellent read for anyone willing to take a deep look at their own biases and come to new conclusions.
